I finally have some t-shirt designs for sale! I don't think I ever mentioned making t-shirts as a goal of mine. I joined Cafe Press all the way back when the Internet was new-ish to me and Zazzle a few years later. Fast forward a couple decades and I just haven't made a real go of it. I've thought about it so much, as my T-Shirt Obsession Pinterest page can attest to. Those are all other people's designs, though. I only uploaded a couple not so great ones at the beginning to test things out and nothing since. I didn't hone my skills. I didn't spend every day coming up with new ideas. In fact, I pretty much gave up drawing after high school. College and then work and just life got in the way. I haven't even drawn a knife since 2016.
I just realized I haven't posted anything since March. I have my day job, of course, and weekends are family time. I also have a fledgling business to attend to and recently my brothers brought me in on an unanticipated venture. So, it's not that I died; it's just that my days have become furious rushes to get things done. Because of that, I've been neglecting to share my thoughts on my favorite things. I hope to change that.

BEAUTIFUL, WARM, BITTERSWEET.
On the one-week anniversary of my death by (at least) a thousand cuts, I bring you this short story of the cause of my demise. What happened to me? Who is responsible? Why did I let my guard down? Was there anything that could have been done?
Let's start with the what. If your eyes skipped over the title up there, I went to see a little movie you may have heard of called Logan. A little movie that has made $535 million worldwide in the three weeks since its release. It's not the highest haul a superhero movie has ever had, but that's nothing to scoff at and it's still a great finish for an emotionally rough goodbye. This is the X-Men movie I was waiting for, the definitive Wolverine movie, one of the best ever superhero movies, and just a damn great movie.
It has been far too long since I last posted anything. Been a busy bee doing so many other things and then got sidelined with a terrible neck pain. And how could I possibly follow up speculations on the heaviest ever episode of The Walking Dead that had been about to premiere in the upcoming season? Well, I wrote my thoughts down (through shock and tears) after watching "The Day Will Come When You Won't Be," but still haven't posted them, and I'm sure I'm going to have a few words for tonight's finale, "Hearts Still Beating." But not just yet.
So, what to do? What to do? I have so many tweetcap drafts I haven't posted of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. (again), The Blacklist, and Supernatural. I'm just not in the right mood, nor do I have the time. But I know now. The answer came to me last night. My answer to blogger's block, or when I only have a few minutes, is always to talk about a t-shirt and the thing that inspired it. So, following the lastest TWD posts is the polar opposite: a more lighthearted, epic, fantastical escape into a brand-new Marvel movie with the character I most recently fell in love with.
Okay, that's it. This has to be it for quite some time. There are so many amazing shirts out there, but I can't possibly have them all. I have far too many already, and I'm sure my family is fed up of seeing new ones, concerned for all the money I'm spending. I am concerned about it, too. It may have become an addiction.
I didn't expect to suddenly be writing about Stranger Things. Six days ago, I hardly knew it existed. I skipped it for about a month. I didn't notice it trending on Netflix. Probably because I was watching other series and not wanting another series to put on my long, long list of series to watch but probably will never get to unless I take a lot of time off work or all my regular shows vanish.
