Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
Season 3
Premiere Clips

9/29/2015

In less than an hour, my Tuesdays get 100% more awesome again. I love Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. probably a bit too much, or more like a lot too much if you're on the outside looking in. I happen to think Coulson, Skye (are we calling her Daisy now?), May, FitzSimmons, Bobbi, Hunter, and Mack should be on my TV every day. Why else would I have spent months on a single post? I just had so much to say and could not let it go. Particularly hard to let go of is Kyle MacLachlan. I will miss him and Cal terribly. But now that the new season is here, I have to move on...until I do a rewatch that is.

To tide you over until the show starts, here are three clips of the premiere, "Laws of Nature." I haven't seen these because I've been so busy, so have to watch. Also, I have company over and likely won't get to watch live. Before you go, don't forget to check out my most recent post, A Finale So Great... Took me since a few minutes after "S.O.S. Part 2" aired until today to finish it. Yes, it's huge, but that's what bookmarks are for. ;)

Updated on June 12, 2020.

This post contains nothing but spoilers for "S.O.S. Part 1" and "Part 2." If for some reason you're reading this before getting caught up, what are you thinking? Set this aside for now. You have mere hours before the season three premiere. Use them wisely.

Here we are at the end already; the end of a season, the end of Cal and Jiaying's heartbreaking story, but the beginning of something new. It's an emotional, epic finale that sets the stage for so much more to come. I can't wait.

MY FAVORITE MOMENTS -- THE SHORT VERSION, FOR THOSE IN A HURRY

Coulson and Cal at the beginning of Part 2. I was hoping all season for an understanding between them—and for Cal to stop trying to kill Coulson, of course. They both love Skye and will do anything to protect her, and they needed to come to that realization about each other. It was good to finally see Cal in a new light, as a father who had lost everything and went to extremes to try to put things right. It was good to finally see him working with S.H.I.E.L.D. after an entire season of being on the attack like a rabid dog.

Darkness Takes Hold
Season 11 Preview Trailer

9/10/2015

This trailer for the premiere of Supernatural season 11 reminds me of the ad for Two Minutes to Midnight, the season 5 penultimate episode, which featured the song "O Death." It was so creepy and portentous that I watched over and over, and I count it among my favorite things. This isn't quite so heavy since it was underscored with the humor that they do so well to lighten the very dark mood, but I still think I'll be watching it a few dozen times before the premiere on October 7.

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Vs Agent Carter
Dubsmash Wars
Silliness for Charity

Remember the Dubsmash War between Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.'s Clark Gregg and Chloe Bennet and Agent Carter's Haley Atwell and James D'Arcy? The ridiculous and wonderful thing that started at Comic-Con? Well, it's time to officially declare a winner. Six videos, three rounds, two charities. Support St. Jude's or Stomp Out Bullying, both worthy causes, with your donations, which count as votes.

Rewatch the original dubs, to remind yourself how entertaining this summer has been, or watch them for the first time. Then it's time for the first video of round 1. Don't wait too long; you don't want to miss the opportunity to win a spot in a Dubsmash with all four of these adorably goofy, fun and sweet people.
